Andover Baseball Association confirms September 10 date for mandatory 12U and 13U travel tryouts.

ANDOVER -- The Andover Baseball Association's website now lists Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, as the confirmed date for mandatory travel tryouts for its 12U and 13U age groups, both to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at Andover Station North. The site describes the date as having "day 1 and day 2 all in the same timeframe" and instructs players to arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and warm-up, with pitchers and catchers asked to stay 30 minutes after for additional evaluations. The association's site reiterates that 2027 travel registration is "Officially Closed."

TOWN -- Andover Recreation, led by Director of Recreation Joseph Connelly, has posted its 2026 Fall/Winter Program Guide on the department's town website.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Andover Soccer Association's posted calendar shows intown registration for grades 1-3 closing Aug. 17, a Seacoast United Summer Soccer Camp for grades K-8 running Aug. 17-21, a travel soccer pre-season camp Aug. 25-27, and an ASA Fall Coaches Meeting Aug. 26. The association's calendar also lists an Aug. 31 golf tournament, a Sept. 2 ECYSA fall coaches meeting, first games Sept. 12, a Fall Soccer Kickoff party Sept. 13, and kindergarten registration closing Sept. 27. ASA's site states the organization is the second-largest youth soccer association in Massachusetts, registering approximately 1,500 players across roughly 1,200 families.
