Andover Baseball Association adds a second travel prep night for 12U and 13U players ahead of September tryouts.

ANDOVER -- The Andover Baseball Association (ABA) told families this week that it has scheduled an additional Travel Prep Night for its 12U and 13U players this Sunday, Aug. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Andover Station North. The session comes as the association's 2027 travel registration remains closed and ahead of the mandatory travel tryouts already set for Thursday, Sept. 10, when both age groups will run through evaluations from 6 to 9 p.m., also at Andover Station North.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Andover Soccer Association's published calendar shows several items landing this week: intown registration for grades 1-3 closed Aug. 17, and the Seacoast United Summer Soccer Camp for grades K-8 ran Aug. 17-21. The association's calendar also lists a travel soccer pre-season camp for Aug. 25-27 and a Fall Coaches Meeting on Aug. 26, both just ahead on the schedule as the club builds toward its Sept. 12 first games and Sept. 13 Fall Soccer Kickoff party.

The Andover Baseball Association reminded families that its 2027 travel registration window has already closed, with the Sept. 10 tryout dates for 12U and 13U marked mandatory and without makeup sessions. Players trying out for pitching or catching were told to plan to stay 30 minutes past the main tryout window for those additional evaluations.
