Andover Agrees To Pay $225,000 To Settle Youth Services Lawsuit

ANDOVER -- The Andover Soccer Association's new soccer year is underway, and the town's Recreation Department has released its 2026 summer program guide.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Andover Soccer Association (ASA), which describes itself as the second-largest youth soccer association in Massachusetts, says its new soccer year began July 1 with 2026 registration now open for boys' and girls' teams from age 5 to 18. ASA says it registers approximately 1,500 players, more than 200 volunteer coaches and 70 youth referees, representing about 1,200 families. The association's calendar lists an intown grades K-3 fee increase effective Aug. 1 and a golf tournament fundraiser set for Aug. 31. ASA's uniform and merchandise store is open, with a 10% discount available using the code ASAREWARD.

TOWN -- Andover Recreation, led by Director Joseph Connelly, has posted its 2026 Summer Program Guide on the department's website. Recreation's office is located at 36 Bartlet Street and can be reached at 978-623-8340.
