Zoning Board of Appeals approves four residential relief petitions at January hearing

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of January 8, 2026

Andover Zoning Board of Appeals approves residential relief for four petitioners. Chair Elizabeth Oltman and four board members unanimously approved special permits and variance denials for Colin Fahey's 10-by-10-foot rear deck at 22 Arundel Street and Ryan Majewski's detached accessory dwelling unit at 12 Bayberry Lane, imposing conditions on the latter barring short-term rentals and condominium conversion. Two additional petitions--from T & T Luck, LLC at 9 Ruggiero Way and Lisa Defronzo at 76 Chestnut Street--were continued to the February 5 meeting.

The board also unanimously approved final decisions on Christopher Knight's deck application at 17 Florence Street and Mark & Molly Zytkovicz's family dwelling unit request at 61 Chestnut Street.
