Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of May 7, 2026
Andover Zoning Board splits on five variance requests at May 7 hearing. The board, chaired by Elizabeth Oltman with members David Guerette and Ellen Keller, unanimously approved relief for Anne Donabedian at 37 Summer Street (rear addition on pre-existing nonconforming 1920s property), Russell Stott at 138 Holt Road (corner lot garage expansion and pool), and Aravindhan Sittivinayagam at 4 Knob Hill Circle (renewal of lapsed garage variance). The board denied Vikrant Chidgopkar at 3 Alderbrook Road, finding that a two-car garage preference does not meet statutory hardship criteria.
Ryan and Kimberly McCabe's application at 55 Rocky Hill Road for a garage and accessory dwelling unit was continued to June 4 pending complete plans.
