Andover Zoning Board approves six relief petitions, splits on three-family conversion. In a 6-2 vote, Chair Elizabeth Oltman and members David Guerette, Lisa Rechisky, Kathy Faulk, Matthew Nigrelli, and Associate Member Michael Novaria approved Christopher O'Brien's request to convert a two-family dwelling at 84 Maple Avenue into a three-family unit, with Associate Members Michael Wellikoff and Dan Lopez opposed. The board imposed a parking-plan condition before permit issuance and cited public concern about neighborhood density.
The board also granted variances and special permits unanimously for residential additions at Rocky Hill, Stratford, Wolcott, and Chester Streets and approved a family dwelling unit at 56 Chestnut Street; one hearing was continued to July 9 after the applicant failed to appear.
