Andover Town Tree Committee · Meeting of February 11, 2026

Andover Tree Committee advances 250th-anniversary sapling program and state forestry grant. Chair Willow Cheeley's committee unanimously approved prior minutes and heard that trees on York Street are slated for March removal under Phase 1 planning. The town has signed a contract with Davey's Resource Group to produce three five-minute videos on urban tree canopy and climate change, with filming targeted for April and May to meet grant deadlines.

The committee also confirmed speakers including Dr. Nicole Forsyth on April 11, and discussed designing plaques for historic trees as part of Phase 2, launching in May.
