Andover Tree Committee advances DCR grant speaker series and 250th-anniversary tree giveaway. Chair Willow Cheeley reported two firms submitted RFP responses, due January 16, and member Mindy Chave will identify speakers for a grant-funded presentation series. The committee set a February 4 public hearing at Municipal Services Building for the York Street tree project, planning to tie plantings to the town's April 24 Arbor Day celebration and produce an educational video.

A web page launching the "250 Trees for Andover 250" free sapling giveaway is due February 1, with sign-ups to begin in February. Members voted unanimously to approve prior meeting minutes.
