Task Force advances land acquisition along Tewksbury Street

Andover Open Space Task Force moves forward on land acquisitions along Tewksbury Street. The Task Force received confirmation of a verbal agreement to purchase 3.53 acres at 92 Tewksbury Street for conservation, with survey and environmental assessments both complete and clear. The Town Council will draft a purchase and sale agreement while the homeowner files a subdivision plan.
The Task Force also discussed acquiring a 0.04 acre sliver at 86 Tewksbury Street and tasked member Jane Gifun with reaching out about 84 Tewksbury Street. The group additionally discussed a Conservation Tree Donation Program pilot and the required state-mandated update to the 2018 Open Space and Recreation Plan.
