Select Board approves winery license and $2.61M supplemental budget transfer.

Select Board · Meeting of April 28, 2026

Andover Select Board unanimously approved a one-day wine and malt liquor license for Marble Ridge Winery and recommended a $2.61 million supplemental budget appropriation. Marble Ridge Winery will operate at the Step Up for Colleen 5K Walk/Run at Town Park on May 3, 2026, with Elbridge Leland II as the licensed manager and service limited to a monitored, fenced area. Town Manager Andrew Flanagan presented Article 12B, which proposes transferring $1.99 million from free cash to Public Works for winter weather costs and $620,000 to Public Safety for employee-related expenses.

Flanagan noted the town has spent 35 to 40 percent over its snow and ice removal budget over the past decade, a lower rate than comparable municipalities.
