Select Board · Meeting of March 16, 2026
ANDOVER — Select Board advances entire FY27 fiscal package and seven warrant articles unanimously. The $252,629,652 main budget (Article P4) and eight related capital and bylaw articles passed without opposition, including $9.2 million in general fund borrowing, $4.8 million from free cash, and $26.3 million in water and sewer enterprise funding after the town missed out on a $1 million federal grant from Congressman Seth Moulton's office. The board also unanimously approved the grant of access easement for 264 Andover Street, completing a multi-year land acquisition process.
The MBTA presented an eight-month preservation project for the Burnham Road bridge, requiring full road closure from late March through October 2026 in four phases to repair deteriorating bearings and steel girders dating to a 1972 renovation.
