Punchard Trustees award $18,749.78 in school grants for 2026-27

ANDOVER — Punchard Trustees approve $18,749.78 in grants for 11 Andover High School projects. The board voted unanimously to fund initiatives including Model United Nations ($2,500), Visual Art Displays ($3,601), and the Chorus and Theater Trip to New York City ($500), while rejecting two applications reported by Principal James D'Andrea as either internally covered or in developmental stages. Treasurer Steven Pekock reported 2025-26 spending reached 98 percent of the $14,814.76 budget.
The Trustees also increased the Principal's Discretionary Fund from $1,500 to $2,000.
