Public Arts Commission elects Foley as chair, forms working groups on small projects and peer cities.

ANDOVER — The Public Arts Commission elected Molly Foley as Chair and formed two working groups on community art and peer research. Foley won 8 votes for the top position, while a 5-5 split between David Whitney and Lauren Kosky-Stamm for Vice Chair was resolved when Kosky-Stamm accepted Clerk instead. Ann Ormond, Director of Business, Arts & Cultural Development, outlined potential small projects including the bike rack area on Bartlet Street and an "Artlet" space on Main Street.
The commission unanimously approved working groups led by Chris DeLorenzo and Pamela Soltes on locations and community engagement, and by David Whitney and Anita Adler on peer public art programs in other towns. Phil Geoffroy will assist with securing the commission's presence on the town website.
