Public Art Commission defers officer elections to April.

Public Art Commission · Meeting of March 2, 2026

ANDOVER — Public Art Commission postpones officer elections to April 6. Eight members brainstormed 13 potential public art sites ranging from street murals to Tom Otterness-style sculpture at Indian Ridge Trail, Elm Square, and Route 133 Shawsheen, with interested candidates for Chair, Vice Chair, and Clerk asked to submit resumes to Ann Ormond, Director of Business, Arts & Cultural Development, by March 9. Ormond reviewed successful public art programs in Arlington, Burlington, Amherst, Cambridge, and Phoenix, and showcased a draft GIS-based public art location map.

Lillian Hsu, Director of Public Art for Cambridge, will visit April 6 at 3 p.m.
