Planning Board · Meeting of July 14, 2026

Andover Planning Board approves three major developments in MBTA Communities Overlay District. The board voted 4-0 to approve 24 and 30 Dale Street, a nine-unit multifamily project after a procedural correction, with residents expressing tree protection and construction concerns. Unanimous votes approved a Stormwater Management Special Permit for 18 Buttonwood Drive and both Site Plan and Mixed-Use Structure permits for 100 River Road, a larger development with a shared parking agreement reviewed by Town Counsel.

The board revised landscaping conditions to require plant replacement in the next season, removing language tying obligations to a project "life" endpoint. The companion grant application aligns with state MBTA communities priorities.
