Andover Planning Board voted unanimously to name a private street "Andover Town Yard Way" at the Old Town Yard development, removing a final planning requirement before the property's sale to Minco Development closes by October 20. Director of Planning and Land Use Paul Materazzo confirmed support from Fire and Police Departments for the 5-0 vote. The property will consolidate its five current addresses onto the new street.
The Board also discussed a zoning bylaw update targeting high-vacancy industrial districts, agreeing to focus first on the River Road corridor using a phased approach.
