Andover Green Advisory Board unanimously backs Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Action Grant. The four-member board, with Director of Sustainability and Energy Melissa Eusden presenting, voted to support and endorse a letter backing the grant application, which will fund green infrastructure and nature-based solutions to mitigate flooding, heat islands, and improve climate resilience around the Ballardvale Train Station neighborhood through coordination with a separate Complete Streets grant. The board also heard a request from the Protect Andover Wildlife Group to co-sponsor a warrant article and agreed to continue discussion at its next meeting.
