Green Advisory Board endorses solar and rodenticide warrant articles.

Andover Green Advisory Board · Meeting of March 16, 2026

ANDOVER — The Andover Green Advisory Board voted unanimously to endorse two warrant articles for Town Meeting: one authorizing a solar photovoltaic lease at the Public Safety Center and another banning anticoagulant rodenticides by commercial pesticide applicators. Chair Bryan Bannon's board also deferred action on an electric bicycle registry pending state guidance on e-bike classifications, and declined an immediate vote on Chandler Road design funding, instead pledging input when design features are discussed. Director of Sustainability and Energy Melissa Eusden reported that an MVP grant application is pending, a zero-emission vehicle policy has been approved, and a compost pilot with Black Earth is expected to launch in the fall.
