Finance Committee reviews $478,000 in technology capital requests.

ANDOVER — Finance Committee examines technology and parks capital projects for FY2027–FY2031. Chief Innovation Officer Ryan Knowles detailed three technology requests totaling $478,000 for FY27: $300,000 for annual staff device refresh transitioning from leasing to direct purchase, and $178,000 for student device refresh supporting the 1:1 technology initiative, both recommended for full funding by Town Manager Andrew Flanagan. Deputy Town Manager Mike Lindstrom and Recreation Director Joe Connelly presented parks improvements including Chandler Road Phase II and Pomps Pond Bathhouse, drawing public comments about traffic safety and pedestrian concerns on the Chandler Road project.

Flanagan announced appointment of Keith Taverna as interim superintendent effective March 1, 2025, and promotions of Hayley Green to Chief Financial Officer and Dr. Britney Lavoie to Director of Administration.
