Andover's Commission on Disability approved prior minutes and hosted Jeffrey Dougan, Assistant Director of the Massachusetts Office on Disability, who offered 25 years of collaborative support on ADA compliance and building codes. A statewide commission meeting is set for April 15; grant funding of $250,000 will open for applications May 1 through June. Liaison reports detailed ongoing infrastructure work: Lovely Field turf and ADA-accessible restrooms, Haggetts Pond trail opening in late April, accessible playground funding from the Colleen Ritzer family, and two automatic doors for Robb Center.
Meals on Wheels served 109 individuals and 1,668 meals in February.
