ANDOVER — Ballardvale Historic District Commission approves front stairs replacement. The commission unanimously approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for homeowner Hrishikesh Kulkarni's proposal to replace deteriorating front stairs at 242 Andover Street with composite decking for the landing and tread, AZEK risers, and PVC railings, with existing footings retained if possible. All seven members present voted in favor, 7-0-0, of the Certificate of Appropriateness.
