Central Street Historic District Commission holds inaugural meeting

ANDOVER — The Central Street Historic District Commission convened for its first meeting, with six of eight members present. Deputy Town Manager Austin Simko, Assistant Planning Director Lisa Schwarz, Building Inspector Eric Tetreault, and Town Counsel Doug Heim briefed commissioners on obligations under the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law and Public Records Law. The Commission identified drafting design guidelines as its primary task over the coming months, informed by principles developed by the Central Street Study Committee in 2025.

The board committed to meeting on the first Monday of each month.
