ANDOVER — The Permanent Town Building Advisory Committee unanimously endorsed a $3.85 million warrant article for Andover High School, focusing on security and furniture replacement without new borrowing. Chair Ellen Keller and Town Manager Andrew Flanagan outlined the Modified Option 3 proposal, funded through $2.57 million in repurposed West Elementary money, $226,476 in capital reappropriations, and $1.05 million in free cash. The article positions the district to file a Statement of Interest with the state in 2027 and targets a new high school roughly 15 years out.
The committee also confirmed that the Town Offices renovation remains on track for early May completion, with $390,000 left in the construction budget after $1.88 million in spending.
