Board of Health supports wildlife protection warrant article amendment

Board of Health · Meeting of March 30, 2026

Andover Board of Health unanimously backs rodent control warrant article amendment. The Board voted 5-0 to recommend town meeting approval of an amended "Protect Andover Wildlife: Advocating for Safer Rodent Control" warrant article that removes the proposal from the Home Rule Petition process and allows it to stand as a separate private warrant article, according to Chair Dr. Deborah Enegess and Deputy Town Manager Austin Simko.

The measure will come before town meeting April 28-30.
