Board of Assessors approves eight of twelve FY2026 abatement applications.

ANDOVER — The Board of Assessors approved eight of twelve fiscal year 2026 property tax abatement applications at its March 13 meeting. Chief Assessor Tristan Hoare and Member Joel Janovsky, newly elected Chairman, reviewed cases in executive session under state open meeting law exemptions for tax matters. Two taxpayers appeared to discuss property valuations with the board; four applications were ultimately denied.

The board's next meeting is set for March 27 at 10 a.m.
