The town's Water Division issued a civic alert for a water main repair on Riverside Drive, posted late Aug. 28 and reposted early Aug. 29, according to the News Flash feed on andoverma.gov. A separate alert, issued the evening of Aug. 28, warned residents of a temporary water service interruption on Andover Street. Neither posting detailed an expected duration or the number of households affected; residents on or near the two streets should watch for lower water pressure or discolored water while crews complete the work.
