Andover Housing Trust awards 37,000 dollars in federal HOME funds to ACT.

Andover Housing Trust Board unanimously awards federal rental assistance funds. The board awarded 37,000 dollars in 2026 HOME funds to ACT to continue a rental assistance program for Andover residents, after determining that only ACT's proposal qualified for the federal allocation, which totaled 39,336 dollars available to the town. The board also voted unanimously to issue a letter of support for a proposed 65-unit affordable rental project at 100 Old River Road, with language drafted by Senior Town Planner Lisa Schwarz that will encourage the developer to improve public transportation access to the site.
