ANDOVER — 375th Committee votes down Brilliant Ice funding request following First Night review. The committee voted 6-1 to deny the vendor's $7,500 request for additional costs incurred beyond the contract terms, with Bill Pennington moving to deny and Susan Pokress seconding the motion. Committee member Joann Michalik presented a detailed evaluation of the First Night event, citing positive attendee feedback while recommending improvements including more volunteers, local restaurant partnerships, and expanded activities for children.

The committee also committed to participating in the Town Veteran's Memorial Day Parade and hosting a thank-you event for volunteers and sponsors, and plans a Classic Car Show for June 12 in collaboration with the Andover Center for History & Culture.
