Andover 375th Anniversary Committee selects five signature events to complete its celebration. Chair Buzz Stapczynski's committee approved prior meeting minutes and endorsed a prioritization exercise led by member Joann Michalik that ranked events by cost, volunteer needs, and audience size. The selected events include a walking tour and concert at South Church, a thank-you gathering for sponsors and volunteers on June 16, a library exhibit on presidential visits, a town-employee barbecue budgeted at $800, and the New England Spring Classic Car Show.
The committee is pursuing an indigenous-history program with archaeologist Ryan Wheeler from Phillips Academy Peabody Institute.
