250th Anniversary Committee schedules May rededication and July events.

ANDOVER — The 250th Anniversary Committee approved a May 25 rededication ceremony at American Revolution Park, featuring a General Lafayette plaque unveiling from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Memorial Day. Chair Susan McCready's committee also advanced planning for a July 8 Declaration of Independence reading and Red Solo Cup concert, plus a July 18 Colonial Craft Fair with Colonial and Native American demonstrations, $200 vendor stipends, and a potential beer garden. Deputy Town Manager Mike Lindstrom presented a "Deep Roots, New Branches – Andover 250" tree initiative including an April 24 giveaway and summer-fall historic tree contest.

A Town Meeting warrant article provides $25,000 for civic events and 250th programming, available July 1, 2026.
