ANDOVER — The 250th Anniversary Committee advanced planning for Rev Fest 250 on October 3. Prescott's Battalion was secured for the 11 AM opening ceremony at $1,200, and Them Apples agreed to perform four hours for $5,000. Deputy Town Manager Austin Simko is negotiating a 300-drone show budgeted at $25,000 with FAA approval expected by September 11.
The committee is selecting a DJ from three vendors and organizing an artisan fair with 15 tents, food from Oak & Iron and Aunty's Italian Kitchen, fencing demos, walking tours, Freedom Trail Foundation activities, and a merchant scavenger hunt.
