ANDOVER — The 250th Anniversary Committee advanced preparations for Rev Fest 250, scheduled for October 3. Chair Susan McCready and members assigned action items to secure vendors, entertainment, and event logistics for the community celebration. Committee member Jennifer Robbins reported that beer, wine, tent, and tables are confirmed, though only two food trucks are currently committed; the committee will contact the Andover Farmers Market for additional vendors.
The event will feature British and Continental Army reenactors from Prescott's Battalion, period characters including George Washington, Paul Revere, Abigail Adams, and Mercy Otis Warren, historic fencing, van and walking tours, a colonial cocktails presentation, a band performance from 4 to 8 p.m., and a drone show at 6:15 p.m.
