250th Anniversary Committee adopts logo for town's America 250 commemoration.

250th Anniversary Committee · Meeting of March 12, 2026

Andover's 250th Anniversary Committee adopts logo option 1B for the town's America 250 commemoration. The vote passed 10 to 1, with design to include a tricornered hat and the word "huzzah" as brand assets co-branded with the town logo in color and black-and-white. Chair Susan McCready reported the committee is advancing three major events: a May 25 Memorial Day American Revolution Park Rededication, a July 8 National Reading of Declaration of Independence with concert, and a July 18 Colonial Artisan Fair with seven vendors confirmed.

A branding launch plan will be presented at the next meeting on or around April 18.
